Warning to France telecom customers.

Do not fall for the sales staff on the phone go to a France telecom office if you want to alter or add to your existing service, because’

France telecom sales staff are phoning people saying that

“we have monitored your line during the past year and realise that you would benefit from a forfait package which will make your calls cheaper”

This statement is incorrect and will cost you money, up to €100 on your normal bill.

They are also guilty of not informing you of any extras you may have to pay for, for example; if you opt for a broadband internet connection you may find that you have unlimited local telephone calls included at a cost of €10 per month and there is no way out of the contract for 1 year.

Be careful.
